James joined AREA in September 2023 and has over 4 years of experience in the real estate industry. He gained a BSc Hons in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. James previously worked at JLL doing residential valuation and long income capital markets focusing on alternatives real estate.  

Having worked in residential valuation and alternative capital markets, James has a strong understanding of the ‘bed’ sector and is well placed to provide detailed advise and underwrites to clients to help them enhance the value of their operational assets.

In his spare time, James can be found on the golf course or reading historical non-fiction books.
