Sam joined AREA in March 2022 after over 5 years with Jones Lang LaSalle. Prior to that he gained a BSc in Business and Management from Oxford Brookes University and he also holds a Masters in Real Estate from the University of the West of England.

Sam has a varied and diverse property background having gained experience across several property disciplines before specialising within the Alternative Sectors and, in particular, long income and funding structures.

Sam has rapidly gained a reputation in the market for underwriting potential investments through his understanding of operational real estate which in turn provides him with the skill set to action transaction and asset management opportunities. It was the opportunity to participate in both of these aspects that was one of his motivators for joining, together with the chance to work for an agile, fast-growing company.

Outside the office he balances his social life with keeping fit and renovating houses.
